What programs do we offer?

CSRI programs offer Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Outpatient Detox Services, and Aftercare. IOP focuses on the client’s physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Clients live at home with their families or in the community while attending IOP programming four days a week in blocks of treatment that are a minimum of three hours in length. Benefits of our program include:

  • Professional team experienced in addiction treatment
  • Treatment based on 12-Step principles and fellowship
  • Assistance in aftercare planning to promote long-term recovery
  • Flexible morning/evening treatment Monday–Thursday
  • Outpatient care allows client to meet employment and family obligations

Outpatient Detox

After a detox evaluation, if you or your loved one requires detoxification from alcohol or other substances, CSRI ensures a safe, medically-monitored detox period. These services are available to those clients following medical clearance after a thorough medical, psychosocial, and behavioral assessment and determination by a physician that the client is medically and behaviorally stable.

Comprehensive Medical Evaluation

The client’s initial comprehensive medical evaluation client includes:

  • Physical examination
  • Psychiatric assessment
  • Laboratory assessment
  • Blood work
  • Urine toxicology screening

Detox Medications

Prior to the initial detox evaluation, a CSRI practitioner will give the client a Breathalyzer test for alcohol. If the client’s substance withdrawal symptoms are clinically appropriate, CSRI will administer detox medications such as Suboxone and Vivitrol during the necessary stages of outpatient detoxification. CSRI offers training programs for both clients and professionals in the use of Narcan in emergency situations.

Is IOP right for you?

An IOP treatment program is appropriate for the client who is medically and psychologically stable, does not experience acute medical issues, and does not require 24/7 supervision. Depending on individual clinical needs clients may participate in this program as stand-alone treatment programs or after the completion of a residential treatment program as a way to assist with reintegration into the community. The IOP client typically resides at home, with family members, or at a Sober Living facility.

Facility Treatment Hours

Our IOP client will be scheduled for therapy according to his or her clinical need and individualized treatment plan, clients are typically scheduled to attend three consecutive hours of onsite treatment four days per week. CSRI treatment centers are open Monday through Thursday, 8:00AM to 8:00PM, and Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. CSRI programs are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Drug & Alcohol Screening

Although the client meets outpatient treatment admission criteria at some point during the program stay, he or she may also benefit from additional clinical treatment such as medication management or psychiatric care. If necessary, we will integrate appointment times into the client’s day program as advised by the multidisciplinary treatment team. If a client has a medical condition we will coordinate care or additional medical observation if clinically indicated.

Psychoeducational Groups

Along with group therapy with sharing and peer discussions, the client will also attend psychoeducational and didactic groups. These groups address issues encountered by many people in recovery and are delivered in a “classroom” setting. These groups are instructive and educational and designed to teach clients post-treatment coping skills and recovery strategies to use following graduation. In these special group settings, the client learns techniques and options to control how to respond in future high-risk situations that might threaten sobriety.
